Meet Duchess
Duchess is a 5 year old, lesser sulfur crested cockatoo. This girl is a sweetheart. She can be shy with new people, but once she's comfortable she's just a cuddle bug. Duchess talks a bit, but only when she's not being watched. She has a dislike of the color pink and bright nail polish.
Duchess currently eats ZuPreem fruit pellets, Harrisons, loves walnuts, and really enjoys her daily chop.
Adoptions require multiple visits over the course of at least 2 weeks before the bird can go home with you. We look for the interaction between the bird and the prospective owner. It's important that the bird can form a bond with you and if the bird makes it clear that it does not like you, then the adoption will not be possible.
